Schools continue to put in place contingency plans to ensure students are safe, learning continues and that information is gathered and distributed efficiently to parents and staff during this important time of virtual schooling.
NYCDOE, and all districts throughout the US, have been assigning additional responsibilities to schools to manage education during the Coronavirus Crisis. These include communicating with parents, providing additional materials and learning pathways for students, collecting feedback from parents and staff, in addition to developing processes and workflows to manage school activities to start the new school year.
